Job Type: Full-Time / Seasonal to Full-Time Growth Opportunity
Pay: $23–$25/hour to start, based on experience
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with optional weekends, early mornings, and occasional evening/off-hours shifts

Rolling Suds of Naperville–Elmhurst is hiring a Lead Exterior Cleaning Technician to help us deliver high-quality service across residential and commercial properties throughout DuPage County and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, works safely, and can help lead jobs the right way. You’ll be working on projects such as:

Power washing / pressure washing
Soft washing
Exterior window cleaning
Building washing
Sidewalks, drive-thrus, and entryways
Storefronts and commercial properties
Residential homes, patios, driveways, siding, and more

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a larger leadership or operations role as the business expands.

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Technician, you’ll help run jobs efficiently, safely, and professionally while delivering a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and complete exterior cleaning jobs at residential and commercial properties
Safely operate pressure washing, soft washing, and exterior cleaning equipment
Perform exterior window cleaning and related detailing work
Set up and break down hoses, ladders, tools, tanks, pumps, and jobsite equipment
Ensure work is completed to company quality standards and job checklists
Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members
Train and support Assistant Technicians on proper procedures and safety
Drive company vehicles and maintain clean, organized trucks and equipment
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling guidelines
Identify and report property conditions, jobsite concerns, or service opportunities
Assist with equipment care, maintenance, and end-of-day prep

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working outdoors and staying active
Mechanically inclined and able to solve problems in the field
Professional with customers and teammates
Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
Able to lead by example and take ownership of the job

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required
Clean driving record / acceptable MVR required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights confidently and safely
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor throughout the day
Experience in pressure washing, window cleaning, exterior cleaning, or related field work is preferred, but not required
Prior experience in home services, commercial cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, painting, roofing, moving, or general labor is a plus
